A man who crashed while riding his motorcycle in Isaacs Ridge Reverse has been taken to Canberra Hospital in a stable condition.

ACT emergency crews were alerted to the incident at 2.03pm and required two 4WD vehicles and an ambulance to rescue the male rider.

Access was difficult, but intensive care paramedics were able to stabilise the driver at the scene by and transferred him to hospital where he is being treated for suspected head, upper body and leg injuries, the ACT Emergency Services Agency said in a statement.
