Traffic was banked up on the Monaro Highway in Richardson, near Johnson Drive, around lunchtime on Thursday because of a man on the road.

Police closed the northbound lane of highway about 12:20pm on Thursday.
They then covered the man, who had been naked, and took him to be assessed at Canberra Hospital.
Police previously reported a number of sightings of the man in Richardson, on Clift Crescent and Deamer Crescent from about 11:30am.
