A man was taken to hospital in a stable condition after the Australia Post truck he was driving crashed into a tree early Wednesday morning.

ACT Fire and Rescue were called to Wentworth Avenue in Kingston around 4am and found the fuel tank had erupted when the vehicle ran off the road.
Crews from ACT Ambulance arrived and took the 55-year-old driver to hospital with minor injuries, an ACT Emergency Services Agency spokeswoman said.
The spokeswoman said officers from the Environment Protection Authority were investigating.
At about 7.45am, the truck was seen rammed into multiple trees and bushes. A large branch had fallen on its roof.
Two fire trucks, two police cars and a HAZMAT truck were on scene.
One lane of Wentworth Avenue near Gosse Street was blocked off.
The ACT ESA spokeswoman was unsure how long the clean-up would take and urged motorists to take care in the area.
