An Evatt man who allegedly wounded his neighbour with a 50-centimetre-long bladed weapon and drove his car at several people on Christmas Eve as part of an "unresolved vendetta" has been refused bail.

Paul Fredrickson, 30, allegedly had half-metre-long bladed weapons in each hand as he approached several men on an Evatt street about 9pm on Thursday and said words to the effect of "I'll take all of you on", court documents said.
The complainants claimed one of the men suffered a three-centimetre cut to his right arm after the defendant lunged and swung one of the weapons, the documents tended in the ACT Magistrates Court on Saturday said.
One of the weapons was described as curved with a silver blade and red handle, the other as black with the appearance of a sword.
The defendant then allegedly got into his silver Holden Commodore and drove down the street before turning around and, "at speed", mounted the gutter near where the men were standing, colliding with a parked car.
The court documents said the force of the impact pushed the parked car back several metres and caused it to spin more than 180 degrees.
The defendant was arrested about 10.30pm and charged with possession of two offensive weapons, wounding the neighbour and dangerous driving including endangering a vulnerable road user.
He had approached the four complainants outside a house in nearby Spence shortly before the alleged attack, asking them if they had been involved in an accident in which his wife was run off the road, court documents said.
Duty defence lawyer Daniil Volodin told the court the defendant disputed the allegations and claimed he had received threats from neighbours for six months, including having a street sign thrown through a window of his car.
Prosecutor Rae-Ann Khazma said the defendant was the alleged instigator of the confrontation, which arose from an "unresolved vendetta" with the neighbours.
Ms Khazma said there was a likelihood the defendant would reoffend and endanger the public if he was released.
No pleas were entered.
Magistrate Bernadette Boss said the alleged actions were a "very violent response" with a "highly inappropriate" weapon to what appeared to be a neighbourhood dispute.
Dr Boss said she was satisfied there was a danger to the neighbours and refused bail. The matter returns to court on January 13.
