Wine winners
Italian and Sons won the Best Wine List (ACT) in the recent Australia's Wine List of the Year Awards, through Gourmet Traveller Wine. Italian and Sons and Mezzalira Ristorante were given the highest rating of three glasses each, with Italian and Sons taking out the big award.

Pasquale Trimboli, who does the wine lists for both venues, said the most challenging thing for Italian and Sons was it featured a wine list that is 95 per cent Italian wines with verticals from Helm vineyard and Clonakilla as the only Australian wines on the list.
"The wine list has a strong showing in rare Italian varietals and organic and biodynamic produced wines, along with the iconic Barolo and Super Tuscans that Italy has to boast," Trimboli said.
Rubicon, in Griffith, won Best Listing of ACT Wines.
