A gift of 150 bibs has been made to newborn babies at Canberra's Centenary Hospital for Women and Children ahead of Red Nose Day.

Red Nose Day, this Friday, is a fundraiser in support of SIDS and Kids, a not-for-profit that advocates for funding and research into stillbirth and other sudden child death.
The bibs were purchased from Red Nose Day merchandise by ActewAGL.
SIDS and Kids community fundraising manager of ACT and NSW, Lisa Ridgley, said funds raised from the day enable the organisation to continue delivering its Safe Sleeping Education Program to new and expecting parents and carers.
Funds also provide counselling support to newly bereaved parents.
"We are delighted that ActewAGL is providing a gift that gives twice, by supporting SIDS and Kids ACT and bringing joy to new mums and bubs in the Centenary Hospital," Ms Ridgley said.
Between 280 and 320 babies are born at the Canberra Hospital each month.
Eight babies die suddenly and unexpectedly each day in Australia due to health complications at birth, stillbirth and Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.
More than nine children under four die unexpectedly every day in Australia, while up to 60 people are affected by the death of a child, SIDS and Kids says.
ActewAGL director of marketing and corporate affairs, Paul Walshe, said he hopes the bibs will put "smiles on the faces of new mums and bubs", and give SIDS and Kids an extra boost for its Red Nose Day appeal.
"Helping raise funds for Red Nose Day is extremely important to ActewAGL. We've had a long association with SIDS and Kids and greatly value the work they do in our community to provide support after the loss of a baby or child, plus vital safe sleeping education," Mr Walshe said.
"I urge everyone to get behind Red Nose Day - every dollar helps this work continue."
