Ashley specialises in capturing the unofficial soul of Canberra, the things we all know and love about the place, writ large.
So there's "The girl that kicked the European wasp nest", drawing on a little Swedish noir and mixing it with Canberra suburbia. As well as marauding maggies and 'roos and cyclists making their presence felt on our roads.
"My aim is to create a range of artwork which is unique, quirky and vibrant," Ashley said.
"I dabble in most mediums but in particular I have created a new style called digital lino. This style was developed over time, using the new technologies of tablet's digital pen and vector art techniques.
"Simply put, I digitally hand draw my images and use a colour wheel on the computer to resemble something of a lino cut print."
Ashley is now considering publishing a book featuring some of the 48 images that made up four years' worth of calendars.
