Entrants in Santa hats and Speedos will brave the Canberra winter on Sunday, July 30 to run the central basin of Lake Burley Griffin as many times as possible in 65 minutes.
Participants are encouraged to form teams and raise a minimum of $2000 to receive a pair or bright red Speedos and a Santa hat (with a singlet for "Mrs Claus") to wear on the day.
Individuals can also register and must raise a minimum of $500 before the event.
Cystic Fibrosis ACT executive director Heidi Prowse said the event over the last four years had raised $360,000, helping local families living with CF with items from equipment to nutritional supplements to sport and recreational grants.
