Old Parliament House management has confirmed it will be part of this year's Enlighten festival allowing coloured lights to illuminate the building during February and March.

The decision comes following the removal of coloured lights from the building last year, after the terrorism alert level was raised in September.
Building works, which saw half the building covered with scaffolding, were the main motive for the initial change.
Additional lighting was put in place to allow the CCTV to capture better-quality footage.
Facilities manager Chris Grebert said security chiefs endorsed the decision to allow coloured lights back on the building for the event, which runs from February 27 to March 7.
He said it was "business as usual" for the institution, albeit with staff having been trained to be more "vigilant and aware".
"Training has continued. It's just more targeted at vigilance detail, on making sure everyone is aware of our procedures and highlighting those, and also emergency evacuations," Mr Grebert said.
He said the lower light levels will affect CCTV during Enlighten; however, the organisation will employ extra security to minimise any risk.
"We're a public building and we're open, so we have to protect the venue and the occupants," Mr Grebert said.
"We have one more [guard] since last year, and that was based on when we went to the high level [of terrorism alert]."
Old Parliament House will be open until 11pm on the Friday and Saturday evening of Enlighten.
A spokeswoman for the event said despite the raised terror alert level and the program featuring prominent institutions, the organisers would not implement additional security measures for the duration of the event.
