The number of Civic workers riding their bicycles to work may have plateaued, according to early analysis of this year's cordon count.

Pedal Power ACT's chief executive says infrastructure improvements in the city centre could encourage more people to replace cars with bikes on their daily commute.
The organisation's 2016 data, collected on Tuesday, showed a 2.5 per cent decrease in the number of cyclists riding into the city between 7am and 10am, compared to 2015's figures.
When the timeframe is shortened to between 7.30am and 9am, however, the number of riders was 8.4 per cent greater this year compared to last year.
According to Pedal Power data, there was a minimum 10 per cent increase annually in the number of cyclists commuting to Civic between 2004 and 2010, but the growth had slowed in the 2010s.
Chief executive John Armstrong said the figures were worrying, but that full 7am to 10am figures only went back to 2012 when the ACT government started supporting the data collection.
"The 7:30-9:00am figures are the only figures that we can compare back to 2004," he said.
"While it is good to see an increase in the overall numbers, the percentage increase is nowhere near as much as we would have hoped."
Mr Armstrong said the data appeared to suggest more cycling infrastructure was needed to encourage more commuters to take their bike to work.
"It looks like we are close to reaching the maximum number of people who are comfortable using the current facilities," he said.
"It does suggest to us that safety, along with comfort and convenience are still real concern for an individual when they are assessing whether or not to use their bike for travel."
More figures will be analysed from town centres in Gungahlin, Belconnen, Woden and Tuggeranong, all of which were collected over the last fortnight.
A two-year trial of road rules requiring motorists to stay at least a metre away from cyclists when overtaking was introduced in November.
Last month, a proposal allowing cyclists to ride without helmets in Canberra was proposed as part of a range of measures in the ACT Road Safety Action Plan 2016-2020.
