They join Flume, Neon Jungle and Chet Faker in the best dance category.
Peking Duk was nominated for High, featuring Nicole Millar, while The Aston Shuffle was picked for Tear It Down.
The bands shared the love on Twitter on Thursday after the nominations were announced.
Peking Duk had two entries in the top five of the Triple J Hottest 100 last month. Their collaboration with fellow Canberrans SAFIA, Take Me Over, was voted number 5 and High came in at number 2 just behind Chet Faker's Talk is Cheap.
On Wednesday, the band also won the Music Video of the Year award for High at the Rolling Stone Awards.
