PNG a natural partner

As a child of a former director of the Australian War Memorial (Noel was there from 1975 to 1983), I did contemplate going yet again to the poignant dawn service this Anzac Day along with 120,000 other Canberrans. Instead, I drafted a submission to a parliamentary inquiry into our bilateral aid relationship with Papua New Guinea. This included an anecdote about how my wife's Anzac biscuits were a vital part of opening doors as I served in the PNG Treasury from 2011 to 2013.
