Celebrity chef and one-time MasterChef Australia runner-up Poh Ling Yeow has been announced as the festival's first ever official chef. She will be at the 2018 event cooking onstage and sharing dishes close to her heart.
Since starring on the first season of the cooking reality show, Poh has gone on to star in her own television shows, and has written three cookbooks.
In 2018, the Multicultural Festival is on February 16-18 in City Walk. From Spanish paella and South African sausage to Thai noodles and Dutch pancakes, the festival will have more than 300 food stalls.
And it's not just about the food - this year's entertainment lineup includes '70s chart-topper and former Brit Leo Sayer, who now calls Sydney home. He will be joined by hip-hop artist and dancer Baker Boy, and Canberra The Voice Australia finalist Lucy Sugerman.
