A store assistant has been threatened with a knife after an aggravated robbery at the Anaconda store in Fyshwick, police said.

It's understood that a man and woman entered the store just before 11am on Thursday and attempted to leave with stolen items.
The sales assistant approached the pair and was then threatened with a knife.
Police said the offenders were last seen in a silver car heading towards Queanbeyan.
The man is described as approximately 5'6" tall, aged in his mid-twenties, Caucasian in appearance with closely cropped blonde hair. He was wearing a black hooded top and black track pants.
The female is described as approximately 5'6" tall, Caucasian in appearance, wearing a black long sleeved shirt and black leggings.
