ACT Policing has asked for witnesses or those with dash-cam footage of a two-car crash in the southbound lanes of the Monaro Highway to come forward.
About 10.30pm on Thursday, March 8, a white Mitsubishi Magna with ACT registration YDM04A was driving at speed when it collided with the rear of a red Subaru XV with NSW registration DDM17J, police allege.
The force caused the Mitsubishi to flip onto its roof, after pushing the Subaru into the dirt off the road's shoulder.
The crash took place nearby the model aircraft club, between Monaro Park Dog Boarding and the Alexander Maconochie Centre (AMC), Monaro Highway, Hume.
Although the driver of the Mitsubishi left the scene, police soon found him nearby and he was later charged over the incident.
