A man entered the Vintage Cellars liquor store on McEwan Avenue around 1.50pm and allegedly threatened staff with a claw hammer before taking the cash register.

No one was injured in the incident.
Police alleged the men fled the liquor store on foot in the direction of the Queanbeyan Train Station.
He was wearing a grey hoodie, light-coloured pants, black shoes, dark gloves and mirrored glasses, police said.
