ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to the crash that occurred about 6.10pm when a blue Ford Territory hit the woman in La Perouse Street.
The driver stopped to assist the woman who sustained serious injuries and remains hospitalised.
Police urge anyone who may have witnessed the incident and were around La Perouse Street at the time to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via act.crimestoppers.com.au.
