ActewAGL responded to reports of a blackout in Franklin and parts of Ngunnawal, Gungahlin and Mitchell about 8pm.

Power was restored to Ngunnawal about 20 minutes later.
An ActewAGL spokeswoman said crews were on site to investigate the cause of the outages.
The provider expected power to be restored to most homes by 11pm.
