The woman had claimed she suffered cuts to her arm and face and a bruised head after she was allegedly assaulted by three members of her own family during the incident last December.

Her brother, Nader Nader Takaloomanish, and his son, Jermaine Takalubegash, 20, each pleaded not guilty in the ACT Magistrates Court to a charge of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

The alleged victim's mother, Zahra Sangdoust, 81, pleaded guilty to the same charge.

A court previously heard witnesses reported a dispute broke out between Sangdoust and the alleged victim after a brick had been thrown through a display screen of a real estate agency about 5.15pm.

In court documents, police claimed Sangdoust assaulted her daughter with a shovel before the woman had been pulled to the ground by her brother, Mr Takaloomanish, who punched her.

While she was on the ground, Mr Takalubegash was alleged to have hit his aunt with a baseball bat.

But prosecutors withdrew the assault charges against Mr Takaloomanish and Mr Takalubegash before the matter was heard in the Magistrates Court.

No conviction was recorded against Sangdoust. She was handed a 12-month good behaviour order.
