Qantas has apologised to passengers after a flight from Canberra to Sydney, QF1510, was forced to return to Canberra after spending over half an hour in the air on Wednesday morning.

The flight, on a Boeing 717, left Canberra at 6:49am and the pilot returned the plane to Canberra airport around 7:33am, a Qantas spokeswoman confirmed.
"Qantas flight QF1510 returned to Canberra when the pilots noticed an indicator warning light had been activated," she said.
"Engineers inspected the aircraft on arrival and were able to resolve the issue with the warning light."
Rash Chandra, who was on the flight, said the pilot told passengers a technical glitch was responsible. "25 minutes into the flight the pilot made an announcement saying there was a technical glitch and we are heading back to Canberra," he said.
"Three of us were going for a meeting in Sydney, and the airline told us there was no space on appropriate alternative flights, so we returned to work in Canberra," Mr Chandra said.
