The Duke of Kent, also known as Prince Edward, Duke of Kent, will be in Canberra to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Anzac Day landings.
The 79-year-old royal is the cousin of Queen Elizabeth II and the grandchild of King George V and Queen Mary.
He will tour Melbourne and Adelaide in the lead up to Anzac Day before landing in the capital on April 25.
During the tour the Duke will undertake duties as patron of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission, make several public appearances and lay wreaths at remembrance sites in both South Australia and Victoria.
Just as Prince Harry had done earlier in April, the Duke of Kent will pay his respects at the Australian War Memorial.
