Relax: February 15

I'll admit upfront that I've been a fan of Pete Evans for a long time. I like his food. He was always happy to chat about cookbooks and what he was up to, I dined at Hugo's in Manly on his invite and was well looked after. But I'm worried about him. He seems to be living the life, new partner, new lifestyle, new lean look (personally I liked him with a little more meat on his bones). And that's the thing – meat, bones, cavemen, paleo. Has it all got a little out of control? So when Jil Hogan wanted to write a story about how the paleo diet, and her version of it, has worked so well for her I was keen to see it all in practice. Does it work for the everyman, or woman, and how can we take the best from it without getting too evangelical about it.
