But the search is on for the rightful owner of the pic (and the two kids in it, now most likely in their late 20s) after it was sent to The Canberra Times this week by the lovely Alice Francis of Ballarat.
It turns out Mrs Francis was visiting the capital in 1994 or 1995 and found a roll of film on the ground while visiting the Australian War Memorial. Mrs Francis has kept the film all these years and recently had the photos developed (remember doing that?) in an effort to find the film's rightful owners.
"I thought you may be able to find the owners," Mrs Francis wrote in a letter to The Canberra Times.
"I am now going on 89, I would like them to have it."
Aside from the two kids, the photos are mostly of a large construction site. After much discussion in the Times office, we've decided it looks like the construction of a golf club or function centre, with many hands on deck in the background laying turf next to a very big and modern building.
The pics also include a close-up of a lovely older gentleman (helping with the construction work) and a beautiful labrador, precious memories for whoever owns the photos.
"There is only one thing I ask, I would like to be told if anyone claims it," Mrs Francis said. "Hope you can help."
