He may have been the spurned husband on Married at First Sight, but Ryan Gallagher is fast becoming a fan favourite as he finds his voice - and pretty much tells it like it is.

And there is even more reason to like Ryan because he has an older brother in Canberra, Rob, who lives in Dunlop and works for the Tax Office. And his mum Vickie and dad Bob have a farm at Goulburn.
So we have one very important question for Ryan: Why didn't he take Davina to the Big Merino during his homestay in Goulburn?
"Oh, yeah. I don't know anyone in town, to go and visit. I pretty much just go to mum and dad's place and the gym," he said.
"Other than that, I steer clear. Of course, you go out in Goulburn and they don't like city boys." Okay, then.
Ryan, 29, grew up in the Sydney suburb of Maroubra. His parents moved to Goulburn about 12 years ago. He was only 17 at the time and elected to stay in the big smoke.
His storyline has dominated the top-rating reality show, with Ryan a straight-shooter in the face of his wife Davina's dalliance with another husband, Dean.
Davina seemed to be trying to win Ryan back, but he was having nothing of it on Tuesday night's episode.
"I say what I think, always. No filter. Sometimes I need it though," he told us on Wednesday.
"There's never an elephant in the room with me. I just put it on the table."
And Ryan is learning very quickly about being public property, instantly recognised.
"Oh, yeah everywhere you go. This week especially. Can't go anywhere," he said. "I can't even catch up with friends without them writing articles about it."
The latest "scandal" was that he was dating another wife, Ashley, who was with Troy. A video of Ashley and Ryan in a carpark emerged. But Ryan said it was all a lot of nonsense.
It all started when his dad, who has Parkinson's disease, travelled to Queensland to do a building job and asked his son to come and help him. The job was near Ashley's house.
"I rang her and said, 'What are you doing?' And she said, 'Just playing tennis all day, I'm not working'. And I said, 'I'll play tennis, I'm coming'," he said.
"And on the way back, her parents wanted something from Woollies so we stopped in the shops and the video was taken. It looks like we're bloody going back to our own apartment. But we're definitely not together. Just friends."
So is he dating Alycia, another bride from the show as "reported"?
"Alycia and I haven't even spoken since the show," he laughed. "Maybe one message which was her telling me that apparently we're together."
Nadia Stamp from last season of MAFS?
"She sat on my lap for a photo and I was very new to this game, I had no idea about paparazzi or anything like that. I didn't think anything of it. I didn't speak to her the whole night," he said.
"I am definitely single. Not dating anyone. I know instantly when I meet someone that they are the one but that hasn't happened in the last three years. I'm not waiting, but I'm not searching. You never find if you search. They always come along when you least expect it. "
What about Davina? Has he gone back to her?
"Oh, you'll have to watch that. I'm not allowed to say," he said., later adding: "I think out of the rumours, the only person I'm not dating is my wife. I'm dating the rest of Australia apparently when really I'm going to bed, lonely as buggery."
Ryan said the plan by Davina to leave him for Dean was hatched only three weeks after they met.
"When Dean came out with it, I wasn't in love with her. So it wasn't like my heart was broken. I just felt like a total idiot because I didn't know what was going on. So I just felt real blindsided and a bit betrayed. It was like someone stealing from you at work, that's what it was like. You thought better of them and you feel let down.'
And, most importantly of all, what did he think of Dean's rap for Tracey? Maybe the truth is in this answer.
"It was not bad but not good," he said, diplomatically. "I don't think it was recording-worthy. But I'm sure Tracey was very happy with it. Let's just say, I won't be rapping for Davina. Or Dean"
But Ryan does like meeting his fans.
"Everyone's been really nice. They just want a photo and a big smile and that's what they get from me. It's one of the perks and I love it," he said.
And much of Australia is in his corner.
"If you don't do anything wrong and you don't say nasty things, that's what's going to happen," he said.
