Those massive hail stones were not restricted to Sydney and the Central Coast on Thursday, they also fell on the South Coast - including at the Clyde River Berry Farm at Mogood.

But luck - or good management - was on the farm's side.
The hail stones were so big they actually got caught in the bird netting over the blueberry bushes.
Hail netting is available but the farm only has bird netting, which actually turned out to have small enough holes to catch the large hail stones which fell in two different short dumps on Thursday.
That's good news for those planning to visit the farm where you can pick your own blueberries across the four hectare orchard during December and January.
Pick-your-own is open every day in December and January from 10am to 5pm, except Christmas Day.
The berry farm is inland from Batemans Bay and Ulladulla.
Follow the Berry Farm signs along the unsealed road after turning off at The Old Highway at Termeil (approximately 18km) or the Old Highway at East Lynne (approximately 14km).
