Marcus Hurley and Rosanna Boyd were married at Government House in Sydney on Saturday before 100 of their closest friends and family.
The couple are both well-known theatre performers in Canberra having starred together in Sunset Boulevard and My Fair Lady. In fact, they met in 2013 while in rehearsals for a production of The Phantom of the Opera.
It's no surprise the couple chose Government House as the place to officially unite - it's the current home of Marcus's parents General David Hurley AC DSC (the current Governor of NSW) and his wife Linda. A native kiwi, Rosanna made her formal entrance down the grand staircase to former NZ number one hit Slice of Heaven. The newlyweds exchanged vows on the Government House lawns and had their first dance in the grand ballroom, before the groom serenaded his new wife with Toto's classic hit Rosanna.
Marcus and former Senator Kate Lundy became close friends a couple of years ago, bonding over a shared love of golf. Kate lined up with four other groomsmen to witness the nuptials.
Marcus and Rosanna will honeymoon in The Whitsundays before making their new home in Sydney.
