It's the dreaded question small business owners across Canberra ask themselves weekly between invoicing, managing staff and keeping clients happy.
Well, we may have found you the answer. Say hello to The Big Conference, an event for female entrepreneurs, hosted by The Womens Collective in October.
Founder Georgie King, owner of small business GLK Nannies, has lured some top talent to the capital for the event including Sydney-based "match-maker" Jessica Ruhfus from Collabosaurus, who helps businesses cross-promote to each other's online audiences.
Networking marketing pro Kata Cser will be on hand to answer the questions you never dared ask about being an Arbonne or Tupperware consultant.
But it's the conference's hands-on marketing offering that deserves more than a few hand-clapping emojis.
For starters, there's a table featuring gorgeous products and manned by a professional photographer to help you learn how to flat lay like a pro. (For those not up with the lingo, flat laying is where you place a series of beautiful objects together on a pretty surface and shoot from the top down. Big on Instagram.)
Then there's a mini photo studio where you can bring your own products and learn how to shoot them for social media. Mikaela Danvers from The Makers Collective will also be on hand to teach business owners how to dominate on Facebook.
"There are a million conferences for small business owners but we want people to walk away from The Big Conference with answers to the questions they've been too scared to ask and with actual ideas for marketing their business online," Georgie said.
