Meet Benjamin Jon Lewis, a real-estate agent for LJ Hooker Kaleen, but more famously known as Canberra's singing, ukulele-playing real-estate agent.
Mr Lewis created a video of himself playing the ukulele while singing a real-estate-themed song inspired by Oasis's Wonderwall and uploaded it to Youtube in the hope it would attract potential buyers to a home set to go under the hammer in December.
"It all stemmed from an organic discussion between myself and the vendor around different ways to get more exposure for the property," Mr Lewis said.
"Developing the video was easy with the support of my colleagues."
However, by 4.40pm on Thursday, the video was taken down from Youtube with a note there was a copyright claim by Sony/ATV.
Mr Lewis was surprised to see the video was removed.
Mr Lewis said his aim was to make the house stand out from others, as the property market begins to slow down for the year. And it would seem his creative tactic has paid off. The video was picked up by 7 News and Channel 10's The Project.
"The response has been great," he said.
"It all stemmed from an organic discussion between myself and the vendor around different ways to get more exposure for the property.
"I've received a number of calls and emails about it and I am excited to see how this weekend's open for inspections go."
The music video starts with Mr Lewis singing: "Today is gonna be the day that I'm gonna show this home to you, by now you should've somehow realised that it's right for you", rhyming to the lyrics of the famous song.
"I know that I am a horrible singer, it was all done for the entertainment factor," he said.
"I didn't actually play the ukulele, I just pretended to - it was suggested to me by one of my colleagues to play it."
The lyrics are accompanied with pictures and vision of the house, 8 Maynard Street, Ngunnawal which has three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a double garage.
"The house itself is great.
"It's not often you find this combination in this area. The layout of the home is very functional and provides fantastic flow from front to back."
Even though the response was been positive, Mr Lewis said he probably wouldn't do it again.
"I will definitely be looking for new and alternative methods to market properties.
"I want to be the agent who assists the real estate industry in moving forward by discovering new and creative ways to sell homes."
The auction will be held on December 12 at Pialligo Estate at 5:30pm.
