A thief used a helmet to beat off a staff member after robbing a motorcycle shop at Fyshwick on Saturday.

ACT Policing is investigating the aggravated robbery after two men entered Joe's Motorcycles on Collie Street and stole items.
About 10.50am two men were stopped by staff inside the store after attempting to leave without paying for clothing and motorcycle helmets.
Police said the men ran from the store with the stolen items and a staff member chased them down Collie Street. During the chase, the staff member was assaulted by one of the men with a motorcycle helmet.
The men were last seen entering a blue sedan and driving away. At the time, both men were wearing blue jeans and dark coloured tops.
During the chase, police believe other people went to help the assaulted staff member and could provide information that could assist in the investigation.
