Emergency services were called to the two vehicle crash on Southern Cross Drive shortly before 10pm on March 15.
ACT Ambulance Service paramedics treated and stabilised three adults and a child at the scene, with one adult female transported to Canberra Hospital in a serious condition after she was extricated from a vehicle by firefighters.
It is understood firefighters had to remove the roof of the vehicle to free the woman.
The woman was in such a serious condition firefighters drove the ambulance to the Canberra Hospital so the two paramedics could treat the woman.
Southern Cross Drive was closed in both directions between Kingsford Smith Drive and Coulter Drive while police investigated the crash.
