Emergency services have said the three fires which burnt near Yass early on Thursday morning were deliberately lit but denied there was any link between the three.

The three fires began between 10pm on Wednesday night and 12.30am on Thursday morning, none of which threatened property.
NSW Rural Fire Service operations manager Ian Kennerley said investigators knew the cause of one fire but were yet to determine what began the other two.
"One was machinery and the other one a vehicle. But the other two we’re investigating... The local police are involved as well, they’re on the job, we’re working with them to come to a decision," he said.
The largest fire was an eight hectare grass fire at Illalong Road, west of Yass, which firefighters believe was started at 10.45pm on Wednesday.
It has been contained by the NSW Rural Fire Service and was being monitored last night.
The other two smaller fires were extinguished quickly on Thursday.
The first began when a vehicle was set alight at about 10pm on Wednesday on Good Hope Road, south of Yass.
It burnt out a small area of grassland before being extinguished by the RFS.
The final fire was lit at about 12.30am on Thursday on Long Rail Gully Road, close to Murrumbateman.
Goulburn police are investigating the fires, assisted by RFS wildfire investigators.
