National Parks and Catchments regional manager Brett McNamara said the family-friendly outdoor celebration was a chance to enjoy the reserve's flora and fauna alongside free entertainment.
"The extravaganza will be packed with fun things to see and do, such as discovering wildlife in The Sanctuary and exploring Tidbinbilla's vast range of walking tracks, as well as a range of great entertainment for all ages," he said.
"It will be a day of entertainment including live music, indigenous activities, a reptile display, pelican feeding, face painting, pioneer games and ranger-guided walks."
The Tidbinbilla Extravaganza will be held from 10am to 4pm.
ACTION buses will transport eventgoers around the reserve with pick up points at Sheedys, Dalsetta, The Sanctuary, the Visitor Information Centre and Rock Valley.
