Tim the Yowie Man: colossal cuttlefish

Earlier this week Alan Nicol, of Moruya Heads, braved his local stretch of sand which was "littered with blue-bottles due to constant onshore winds" to find a 29 centimetre-long (or in sync with Sledge's unique measuring system, a Size 11 thong) cuttlebone. "I've found a few similar size, but none had barnacles like this one - which has obviously been floating around for a while," reports Nicol.
