Tim the Yowie Man: Was falling tree a warning from the grave?

It's confronting but also artistic, albeit in a macabre way. While making our way out of the windswept expanses of the northern reaches of the Long Plain and into the shelter of the treeline, amongst a field of wildflowers we stumble upon the rotting carcass of a brumby. The chance find is a stark reminder that this remote patch of northern Kosciuszko National Park is beautiful, but also unforgiving.
