A man and a woman charged with stealing a car allegedly drove at police and rammed into their car in an attempt to evade arrest on Monday night.

About 1:45pm, police said they received reports a car had been stolen in Curtin.
Later that evening, officers found a 21-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman inside the car in Coombs.
The two allegedly drove the car at police, colliding with the police vehicle, before driving at high speed down a footpath where they hit a handrail and an electricity power box.
They were arrested and conveyed to the ACT Watch House.
The man, from Belconnen, will face the ACT Magistrates Court on Tuesday morning charged with various offences including failing to stop a motor vehicle for police, driving or riding a motor vehicle without consent, driving while disqualified, and aggravated reckless or dangerous driving.
The woman, from Coombs, will also face the ACT Magistrates Court on Tuesday charged with riding or driving a motor vehicle without consent.
