Police say they caught two drivers breaking almost the same traffic laws at the same time in the early hours of Sunday morning.

"About 2.49am, police were patrolling when they observed two vehicles proceed through the same red light at the intersection of Flynn Drive and King Edward Terrace without stopping. Police activated their lights and sirens and performed a traffic stop on both vehicles," ACT Policing said in a statement.
It is unclear whether the drivers knew each other.
Police said a 29-year-old Griffith woman driving one car was unlicensed and driving an unregistered and uninsured vehicle.
The second driver, a 42-year-old man, was found to be unlicensed, driving an unregistered, uninsured and defective vehicle.
Both drivers will also be charged with running the red light, and are expected to face court next month.
Detective Acting Superintendent Marcus Boorman said he was frustrated by driver's bad behaviour.
"These two individuals have shown a complete disregard for the law and the safety of other road users," he said.
