Police are calling for witnesses after two men allegedly robbed a Red Rooster restaurant in Wanniassa and threatened to assault a staff member.

Police say the men entered the venue on the corner of Langdon Avenue and Rylah Crescent around 8.30pm on Sunday night and demanded a worker open the cash register.
When the demand was refused, police say they threatened the employee who then opened the register.
The men fled with a small amount of cash in a late model Toyota Camry sedan with no registration plates.
They drove off along Athllon Drive, Wanniassa.
