A man and a woman have been taken to Canberra Hospital after their motorcycle collided with a car in Kingston on Saturday morning.

The incident took place at the intersection of Wentworth Avenue and Leichhardt Street at about 12.30pm on Saturday and police and ambulance crews attended the scene.

The male driver of the motorcycle and his female passenger suffered minor injuries as a result of the collision and were taken to Canberra Hospital in a stable condition.
Intensive care paramedics assessed the driver of the car at the scene.
All roads in the area have been reopened and traffic is flowing smoothly.
