Uber wants to spread the love (and get you to buy Uber rides) this Christmas by delivering free festive hams around Canberra on Wednesday, December 23.

They'll deliver a free 450g mini ham on demand in Canberra this afternoon. And don't expect some supermarket special - these hams are the real deal from Poachers Pantry in Murrumbateman.
They're calling this extravaganza "Hamberra". Yes they are.
How does it work? Open the Uber app between 12pm and 2pm today and request the "HAM" option in the slider. If it's available, an Uber driver will deliver the meaty treat to your doorstep.
Well, they'll deliver it to your doorstep if you're in the inner north or south.
"Hams will only be delivered in Civic, ANU, Braddon, Turner, Ainslie, Dickson, Campbell, Kingston, Barton and the Parliamentary Triangle," Uber says.
You can only get one ham per rider.
And the size of the ham may vary. And the hams are limited.
