Serving up handcrafted pizza, pasta and salads, the restaurant is focussed on fresh food - all ingredients will be sourced within a 150 kilometre radius of Canberra and pasta, pizza dough, sauces, salad dressings, and desserts are all made- in-house daily.

The Canberra restaurant will be different to those elsewhere in the country - instead of ordering directly from chefs and having your pasta cooked right in front of you, diners will order at a central point and then be seated, with meals and drinks delivered to the table.

Vapiano Canberra is opening on the dining strip outside Canberra Centre's Monaro Mall beauty precinct, alongside Raku and Espresso Room.

It will be the seventh restaurant for the chain - they are currently in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, the Gold Coast, and Toowoomba.
