Water cooler chatter has begun to turn to the topic of temperatures and whether or not it is time to add blankets to the bed and sport your winter woolies.
The first six days of April have been far cooler than what territorians enjoyed last year.
The lowest minimum temperature recorded so far was 3.7 degrees.
This year's average minimum temperatures for the first six days of April was 5.4 degrees, compared with a relatively balmy 11.8 degrees over the same period in 2016.
So don't feel bad about breaking out your hoodie, ugg boots or tagging your next rugged-up selfie with #winteriscoming.
In 2016, there were six April days where temperatures fell below five degrees, whereas minimums fell below five degrees on three of the first six April days in 2017 and a four degree low is forecast for Friday.
