The ACT government has earmarked $200,000 this year to investigate the realignment of the East-West arterial road at Molonglo from John Gorton Drive to the Tuggeranong Parkway.

This realignment would include a bridge crossing the Molonglo River, a grade-separated interchange at the Parkway and a trunk cyclepath.
An extra $100,000 will be set aside for the project for 2018-19.
Also about $500,000 will be put towards planning for a new school in Molonglo.
Weston Creek also stands to get a share in $500,000 to design new nurse-led walk-in centre.
