I had to ask a bright young thing in the office what "fitspo" actually meant. I am on Instagram (follow me @kazzo66) but I'm not very fit, nor inspirational, really. But I am sort of addicted to living vicariously through other people's Instagram feeds. So many fit bodies, so much healthy food, so many gorgeous children and stylish homes. Sigh. If only. And then when it's getting all too much, I head over to @womenirl - women in real life - for my dose of spilled coffee, crying kids and inspirational quotes, such as: "By now the wine should know well enough to come out of the store when I honk." And the universe is put back into place.

Good luck to the men and women of Instagram who seem to have someone following them around, a dear friend with a camera (and a stylist and a hairdresser and a fake tan applier) who captures all these wonderful life moments, just by chance. But I'm not one of them.
You're more likely to find me putting Ross Dobson's recipes to use. Food and beer. He's one of my favourite cooks and his latest cookbook doesn't disappoint. Are there such things as "eatspo" and "beerspo"?
