First impressions

One thing I'm discovering about the arts scene in Canberra is that sometimes some of the most interesting things are found hidden away in places you'd never expect. I loved discovering Michal Glikson's exquisite scrolls at the ANU School of Art and Design. I find something new and amazing at the Outdoor Sculpture Festival at Canberra Grammar School every time I wander off to the toilets at the rugby - you have to see the life-size steel brumbies - the horses, not the footballers - in the main quad.
