Next year will make the 23rd year for the festival, which brings together food, music and dance from around the globe for three days in Civic.
Minister for Multicultural Affairs Rachel Stephen-Smith said results from a survey of 1000 ACT households showed this year's festival had been a success.
The survey showed 41 per cent of households had attended the event, up from 17.7 in 2017, with respondents reporting better value for money and improvements in comfort and accessibility.
