ALL DECEMBER - OLD BUS DEPOT MARKETS
The Kingston staple Sunday event is on both Saturdays and Sundays throughout December with everything Christmassy from handcrafted gifts to decorations, live Christmas trees and edible Christmas treats, plus Santa himself. December 2 - ECO-ELVES NIGHT MARKET
If you're looking for some eco-friendly gifts, this event has local handmade, fair-trade and up-cycled gifts, plus live music, a food and wine bar, and views over the lake at sunset. Canberra Environment Centre. 5-9pm.
December 9 - NIGHT MARKET CANBERRA
Popping up again under fairy lights in the Realm precinct with stalls, live music, street eats and a bar. 4-9pm. nightmarketcanberra.com.
December 10-11 - HANDMADE CHRISTMAS MARKETS
Shop from more than 220 designers and makers under one roof at Exhibition Park. Free parking and ATM on site. 10am-4pm. handmadecanberra.com.au.
December 16-24 - CHRISTMAS IN THE CITY MARKETS
There will be handmade gift and arts markets over nine nights at Ainslie Place in Civic, plus the food markets next door which have four different themes. Entry by donation to Red Nose.
