She's a champion busker who performs regularly at weddings and corporate events but her 'blind' audition on Channel Nine's The Voice this weekend could be Canberra singer Lucy Sugerman's most nerve-racking performance to date.

Lucy, 15, will have her guitar in hand this Sunday night as she takes to the Channel Nine stage in Sydney to perform for the show's judges - internally-renowned singers Seal, Kelly Rowland, Boy George and Delta Goodrem.
As part of the blind audition process, the judges will have their backs to Lucy as she performs, and she'll have to sing well enough to convince them to turn their chairs around. A turned chair means the judges are keen to have Lucy on their 'team' and coach her into winning The Voice.
Channel Nine is staying quiet on details but we hear Lucy's blind audition song for Sunday night is a song by a male artist, recorded in 1969.
Lucy has been singing since "before she even spoke a word" according to dad Michael Sugerman, and she was crowned Australian National Busking Champion in 2015 and 2016.
Lucy started performing in Canberra at age nine, and released her first album at just 11.
"I do get nervous before I go onstage but I feel like once I get up and I get into performing all the nerves go away - it's just so much fun and something I love doing," Lucy told Fairfax Media last year.
"I love music and music is everywhere in my life, and there's inspiration everywhere to create music.
"Going up onstage is one of my favourite feelings in the world and singing is everything to me."
