Police are calling for witnesses to a suspicious carport fire that occurred in Red Hill early on Monday morning.

The ACT Fire Brigade attended a property in Discovery Street, Red Hill, about 3.30am after reports that two carports were on fire.
"Two carports and one car suffered significant damage as a result of the fire," an ACT Policing spokesperson said. "A rear fence and furniture being housed under one of the carports was also damaged."
ACT Policing are investigating the incident and AFP Forensics will be attending the scene on Monday morning to collect evidence.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
