A woman was freed from a car and another was driven to hospital after a three-vehicle crash near Jeir, between Canberra and Murrumbateman on Saturday afternoon.

One of the women, aged in her 40s, was trapped for about an hour before being extricated.
ACT Ambulance Service, ACT Fire and Rescue, Fire and Rescue NSW and NSW Ambulance were at the scene, with the Snowy Hydro Southcare helicopter on standby waiting for the woman's release.
She was stabilised at the scene before being airlifted to The Canberra Hospital with suspected pelvic injuries.
The second woman, aged in her 30s, was driven to the Canberra Hospital in a stable condition for observation.
Emergency crews were alerted to the incident at the intersection of Kaveneys Road and Dog Trap Road at 4.04pm and responded with two fire pumpers and an ambulance.
Fire crews used cutting equipment on one of the cars to allow intensive-care paramedics access to a trapped female.
Other patients were assessed and treated at the scene for minor injuries.
