Wet and cold weather has forced the inaugural World Curry Festival in the City, due to start tomorrow, to be postponed for a week.

Initially scheduled for this weekend, the two-day event will now be held on July 18 and 19.
"It's meant to be the coldest snap for about four years so we wouldn't want to subject the community to that," said Canberra CBD Limited CEO Jane Easthope.
"And for our chefs and our demonstrators to cook in a wet cold event - it's not fair on anyone."
A strong cold front sweeping over much of Australia this weekend will create some of the coldest temperatures in years, with a 20 to 30 per cent chance of snow in Canberra on Sunday.
Run by Canberra CBD Limited alongside their Skate in the City open-air ice skating rink, the curry festival will have a mix of local restaurants and non-profit community organisations selling food and running cooking demonstrations.
The program will remain predominantly the same on the new dates, with a few additions.
"We've got both Austria and Germany as cultural participants at the ice rink on Sunday so it's going to add another multicultural dimension. And the Greeks have come on board at the last minute - they're doing lamb curry wraps so it's a Greek twist to curry," she said.
"There's a good mix of Nepalese and good Indian and Thai too. There's something for everyone."
